शिक्षा तथा खेलकुद मन्त्रालयले शिक्षकहरूलाई सवारी साधन खरिद गर्न सहयोग पुर्याउने उद्देश्यले ब्याज अनुदानको व्यवस्था समेटिएको शिक्षा (एघारौं संशोधन) नियमावली, २०८३ अर्थ मन्त्रालयमा स्वीकृतिका लागि पठाएको छ। प्रस्तावित व्यवस्थाअनुसार प्रथम श्रेणीका माध्यमिक तहका शिक्षकले ५० लाख रुपैयाँसम्मको सवारी साधन खरिद गर्न पाउनेछन् भने द्वितीय श्रेणीका शिक्षकले त्यसभन्दा कम मूल्यको सवारी साधन खरिद गर्न पाउनेछन्। काठमाडौंबाट प्राप्त समाचारअनुसार उक्त प्रस्ताव स्वीकृतिका लागि अर्थ मन्त्रालयमा पठाइएको हो।
