राष्ट्रपति रामचन्द्र पौडेलले परिवर्तित विश्व परिवेश र भावी चुनौतीअनुसार नेपालको शिक्षा प्रणाली सुधार गर्नुपर्ने बताएका छन्। काठमाडौंमा असोज २४ गते पशुपति मित्र माध्यमिक विद्यालयको ८०औं वार्षिकोत्सव कार्यक्रममा सम्बोधन गर्दै उनले शिक्षा थप व्यावहारिक र मूल्यमान्यतामा आधारित हुनुपर्नेमा जोड दिए। विद्यार्थीलाई उदीयमान अवसरको सदुपयोग गर्न सक्षम बनाउनुपर्ने उनको भनाइ छ।
