बुढीगण्डकी नदीमा आएको बाढीले सिर्दिबास उहिया लघु जलविद्युत् आयोजना नष्ट गरेपछि उत्तरी गोरखाका करिब ५ हजार घरधुरी आइतबार मध्यरातदेखि विद्युत् विहीन भएका छन्। जलविद्युत् आयोजनाका अध्यक्ष सुजन गुरुङका अनुसार चुम्नुब्री गाउँपालिका–३ र ६ मा विद्युत् आपूर्ति अवरुद्ध भएको छ। लोक्पा, डुङ्ला, न्याक, फिलिम, चिसापानी, आङ्गा, नागचेत, घट्टेखोला, पाङ्सिङ, जगत, सल्लेरी, पैयुँ र भालुबलगायत बस्तीमा पनि विद्युत् सेवा प्रभावित भएको छ।
