पत्रकार तथा लेखक जनकराज सापकोटाको उपन्यास 'मगनी मारिक' काठमाडौंमा सार्वजनिक भएको छ। कमलादीस्थित प्रज्ञा भवनमा आयोजित कार्यक्रममा चिकित्सक डा. रामजी राम र राजधानीमा छात्रवृत्तिमा अध्ययनरत मधेशको दलित डोम समुदायकी विद्यार्थी अञ्जु कुमारी मारिकले संयुक्त रूपमा पुस्तक विमोचन गरे। मधेशको सीमान्तकृत डोम समुदायको पात्रलाई केन्द्रमा राखेर लेखिएको यो उपन्यासमा जातीय विभेद, सामाजिक बहिष्करण तथा राज्य र प्रशासनसँगको भिडन्तमा आउने जटिलताहरू समेटिएका छन्। सापकोटा एक प्रकाशनका सम्पादकका रूपमा कार्यरत छन्।
