जिल्ला कृषि विकास कार्यालयका अनुसार जुम्लाले यस सिजन अहिलेसम्म अन्य जिल्लामा करिब ७,३३० मेट्रिक टन स्याउ निर्यात गरेको छ। कार्यालय प्रमुख राम भक्त अधिकारीका अनुसार जिल्लाले यस वर्ष करिब १९,५०० मेट्रिक टन स्याउ उत्पादन गरेको छ, जसबाट अनुमानित ५५ करोड रुपैयाँको कारोबार भएको छ। किसानहरूले अहिले न्यूनतम मूल्यमा स्याउ बिक्री गरिरहेका छन्।
