मन्त्रिपरिषद्को निर्णयपछि मनिष पण्डित चलचित्र विकास बोर्डको अध्यक्षमा नियुक्त भएका छन्। प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद् कार्यालयका अनुसार चलचित्र निर्माता तथा लेखक पण्डितले सोमबार सूचना तथा सञ्चारमन्त्री विक्रम तिमिल्सिनाबाट नियुक्तिपत्र बुझेर पदभार ग्रहण गरेका हुन्। नियुक्तिपत्र हस्तान्तरणका क्रममा मन्त्री तिमिल्सिनाले बोर्डलाई सबै चलचित्रकर्मीको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्ने समावेशी संस्था बनाउन र चलचित्र क्षेत्रको विकासमा ठोस नतिजा दिन आग्रह गरे।
