परराष्ट्रमन्त्री शिशिर खनालले बिहीबार काठमाडौंमा आयोजित राष्ट्रिय जलवायु समिट २०२६ मा नेपालको जलवायु प्राथमिकता प्रस्तुत गर्दै हिमाल संरक्षणका लागि अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय समर्थन बलियो बनाउन र जलवायु वित्त सुलभ गराउन आग्रह गरे। टर्कीको अन्ताल्यामा हुने कोप३१ मा नेपालले हिमाली क्षेत्रका विशिष्ट समस्या, जलवायुजन्य क्षति तथा हानि, जलवायु वित्त र जलवायु न्यायलाई प्राथमिकता दिने उनले बताए। कृषि, वन तथा वातावरणमन्त्री गीता चौधरी र प्रतिनिधिसभा सभामुख डी.पी. अर्यालबीच नोभेम्बर ९–२० मा हुने कोप३१ मा नेपालको सहभागिताबारे छलफल भयो। नेपालले २० मिलियन अमेरिकी डलर जलवायु कोष प्राप्त गर्ने भएको छ।
