अमेरिकी चार्ज द अफेयर्स मेगन बोल्डिनले बिहीबार काठमाडौंमा प्रधानसेनापति जनरल अशोक राज सिग्देलसँग भेट गरी द्विपक्षीय सम्बन्ध तथा अगस्टको विनाशकारी बाढीपछिको विपद् पूर्वतयारी र पुनर्लाभका लागि अमेरिकी सहयोगबारे कुराकानी गरेकी छन्। भेटमा बोल्डिनले विपद्मा ज्यान गुमाउनेप्रति समवेदना र बेपत्ता परिवारप्रति सहानुभूति व्यक्त गरिन्। अमेरिकाले नेपाललाई विपद् प्रतिकार्य उपकरणका लागि १५ करोड डलर उपलब्ध गराउने भएको छ।
