प्रधानमन्त्री कार्यालयले सार्वजनिक गरेको विवरणअनुसार सशस्त्र प्रहरी बल (एपीएफ) ले २०२६ मार्च २७ देखि अक्टोबर २९ सम्मको अवधिमा सीमा क्षेत्रबाट १ अर्ब ३३ करोड २० लाख रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी मूल्यका अवैध सामान बरामद गरेको छ। सो अवधिमा एपीएफले १७ थान अवैध हतियार बरामद गर्नुका साथै आठ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको छ र अन्य कसुरमा संलग्न ४२१ जनालाई पनि पक्राउ गरेको छ। प्रधानमन्त्री बालेन्द्र शाहको नेतृत्वको सरकार सत्तामा आएपछि चोरी निकासी, लागुऔषध ओसारपसार र हतियार तस्करीविरुद्ध अभियान तीव्र पारिएको सन्दर्भमा यी बरामदगी भएका हुन्।
