लुम्बिनी प्रदेश सरकारले प्रदेशका सबै स्थानीय तहमा बालविवाह न्यूनीकरण कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गर्ने भएको छ। प्रदेशलाई बालविवाहमुक्त बनाउने लक्ष्यसहित सुरु हुने यो अभियानले विद्यार्थी, विद्यालय बाहिर रहेका किशोरी, अभिभावक र शिक्षकलाई सचेतना, परामर्श तथा समुदायमा आधारित रोकथाम कार्यक्रममार्फत समेट्नेछ। आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ का लागि स्थानीय तहलाई दिइएको सशर्त अनुदानको प्रभावकारी कार्यान्वयनका लागि प्रदेश सरकारले बालविवाह न्यूनीकरण कार्यविधि जारी गरेको छ। यो कार्यक्रम दाङबाट घोषणा गरिएको हो।
