तनहुँ जलविद्युत आयोजना अन्तर्गत दमौली-भरतपुर २२० केभी प्रसारण लाइन निर्माणका लागि चितवन खण्डमा १,२०० भन्दा बढी रुख काट्न अनुमति दिइएको छ। डिभिजन वन कार्यालय चितवनले राष्ट्रिय तथा सामुदायिक वन क्षेत्रभित्र पर्ने रुखहरू हटाउन र वृक्षारोपण गर्न आयोजनालाई अनुमति प्रदान गरेको हो। यो प्रसारण लाइनले तनहुँ र चितवन जिल्लालाई जोड्दै क्षेत्रीय विद्युत प्रसारण प्रणालीलाई सुदृढ बनाउने लक्ष्य राखेको छ।

The Division Forest Office in Chitwan has granted permission to fell over 1,200 trees for the construction of the Damauli-Bharatpur 220 kV transmission line. This infrastructure project is a key component of the Tanahun Hydropower Project, spanning both national and community forest areas. The permit allows for tree clearing and subsequent plantation work to mitigate environmental impacts. The project aims to enhance the regional power grid by connecting Tanahun and Chitwan districts.
