तनहुँ जलविद्युत आयोजना अन्तर्गत दमौली-भरतपुर २२० केभी प्रसारण लाइन निर्माणका लागि चितवन खण्डमा १,२०० भन्दा बढी रुख काट्न अनुमति दिइएको छ। डिभिजन वन कार्यालय चितवनले राष्ट्रिय तथा सामुदायिक वन क्षेत्रभित्र पर्ने रुखहरू हटाउन र वृक्षारोपण गर्न आयोजनालाई अनुमति प्रदान गरेको हो। यो प्रसारण लाइनले तनहुँ र चितवन जिल्लालाई जोड्दै क्षेत्रीय विद्युत प्रसारण प्रणालीलाई सुदृढ बनाउने लक्ष्य राखेको छ।
