भारतीय अवरोधका कारण इलाम र झापाका चिया उद्योगहरू बन्द

भारतले चिया निर्यातमा अवरोध सिर्जना गरेपछि इलाम र झापाका दर्जनौँ चिया उद्योगहरू असार १ गतेदेखि बन्द भएका छन्। भारतीय पक्षले नयाँ गुणस्तर मापदण्ड र 'स्ट्यान्डर्ड अपरेटिङ प्रोसिजर' को बहानामा विगत डेढ महिनादेखि नेपाली चिया निर्यातमा रोक लगाएको छ। चिया उत्पादनको मुख्य सिजनमै उद्योगहरू बन्द भएपछि हजारौँ किसानहरू चिन्तित बनेका छन् भने यसबारे संसदमा समेत आवाज उठाइएको छ।

    भारतले चिया आयातमा नयाँ र कडा मापदण्ड लागू गरेपछि इलाम र झापाका दर्जनौँ चिया उद्योगहरू असार १ गतेदेखि बन्द हुने भएका छन्। भारतीय चिया बोर्डले गुणस्तर परीक्षणको बहानामा ल्याएको नयाँ कार्यविधिका कारण विगत डेढ महिनादेखि नेपाली चियाको निर्यात ठप्प भएको छ। सूर्योदय अर्थोडक्स चिया उत्पादक संघ नेपालका अनुसार यो संकटले हजारौँ किसान र मजदुरहरूको जीविकोपार्जनमा गम्भीर असर पारेको छ। यस विषयमा नेपाली कांग्रेसका सांसदले प्रतिनिधि सभामा कुरा उठाउँदै सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण गराएका छन्।
