स्वास्थ्य सेवा विभागले देशभरका सबै निजी अस्पताल र क्लिनिकहरूलाई अनिवार्य रूपमा स्तनपान कक्ष स्थापना गर्न निर्देशन दिएको छ। टेकुस्थित परिवार कल्याण महाशाखामार्फत जारी गरिएको परिपत्रमा स्वास्थ्य संस्थाहरूमा स्तनपान गराउने आमाहरूका लागि सहयोगी वातावरण सिर्जना गर्न आग्रह गरिएको छ। यो कदम स्तनपान कक्ष स्थापना तथा सञ्चालन निर्देशिका बमोजिम मातृ तथा शिशु स्वास्थ्य पूर्वाधारमा सुधार ल्याउने उद्देश्यले चालिएको हो।
