पाँचथरको फिदिम नगरपालिका र हिलिहाङ गाउँपालिकाको सिमानामा पर्ने हेवा खोलामा तटबन्ध निर्माण कार्य सम्पन्न भएको छ। झापास्थित सिँचाइ तथा जलस्रोत आयोजना कार्यालयले माझीटार बस्तीलाई नदी कटानबाट जोगाउन दुवैतर्फ तटबन्ध निर्माण गरेको हो। यस पूर्वाधारले वर्षौंदेखि बाढी र कटानको जोखिममा रहेका स्थानीय बासिन्दालाई ठूलो राहत पुर्याएको छ।
