काठमाडौं महानगरपालिकाले वीर अस्पतालसँगको समन्वयमा सञ्चालन गरेको निःशुल्क स्तन तथा पाठेघरको मुखको क्यान्सर परीक्षण शिविरमा ९० जना महिलामा ह्युमन प्यापिलोमा भाइरस (एचपिभी) संक्रमण देखिएको छ। चैत १७ देखि वैशाख २१ गतेसम्म सञ्चालित उक्त शिविरमा कुल २,७७९ महिलाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण गरिएको थियो। संक्रमितमध्ये १२ जनामा एचपिभी-१६ को संक्रमण पुष्टि भएको महानगरले जनाएको छ।
