यूएनएफपीए र पानासोनिक होल्डिङ्स कर्पोरेसनबीच जाजरकोट र रौतहट जिल्लाका स्वास्थ्य संस्थाहरूलाई १९८ थान सौर्य लालटिन उपलब्ध गराउने सम्झौता भएको छ। यस पहलले विद्युत कटौती र जलवायुजन्य आपतकालीन समयमा पनि मातृ तथा नवजात शिशु स्वास्थ्य सेवालाई निरन्तरता दिन सहयोग पुऱ्याउनेछ। यो कार्यक्रम नेपालमा मातृ तथा बाल स्वास्थ्य सेवा सुधारका लागि जापान सरकारको आर्थिक सहयोगमा सञ्चालित परियोजनाको एक हिस्सा हो।
