चितवन राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्जले जङ्गली हात्ती 'ध्रुवे' लाई जीपीएस जडित स्याटेलाइट रेडियो कलर बाँधेर जङ्गलमा छाडेको छ। विगतमा २५ जनाको ज्यान लिएको भनिएको उक्त हात्तीलाई प्राविधिक टोलीले डार्ट गरी नियन्त्रणमा लिएर रेडियो कलर जडान गरेका हुन्। निकुञ्जका सूचना अधिकारी अविनाश थापा मगरका अनुसार यस प्रविधिले हात्तीको गतिविधि निगरानी गर्न र स्थानीय बासिन्दाको सुरक्षा बढाउन मद्दत पुग्नेछ।
