नेपाल प्रहरीको केन्द्रीय अनुसन्धान ब्युरो (सीआईबी) ले नेपाल दूरसञ्चार प्राधिकरणका पूर्वअध्यक्ष भूपेन्द्र भण्डारीलाई बिहीबार साँझ पक्राउ गरेको छ। ललितपुरको धापाखेलबाट नियन्त्रणमा लिइएका भण्डारीमाथि स्मार्ट सेल घोटाला प्रकरणमा संलग्न रहेको आरोप छ। सीआईबीका प्रवक्ता अनुपम शमशेर जबराका अनुसार तत्कालीन सञ्चार तथा सूचना प्रविधि मन्त्री रेखा शर्माले भण्डारीलाई प्राधिकरणको अध्यक्षमा नियुक्त गरेकी थिइन्।
