नेपालमा सन् २०२६ मा बालबालिका, किशोरकिशोरी, महिला तथा अन्य जनसमूहको पोषण अवस्था र आवश्यक सूक्ष्मपोषक तत्वको स्तर मूल्याङ्कन गर्न राष्ट्रव्यापी सूक्ष्मपोषक तत्व सर्वेक्षण गरिने भएको छ। स्वास्थ्य तथा खाद्य सुरक्षा मन्त्रालयअन्तर्गतको परिवार कल्याण महाशाखाको नेतृत्वमा सञ्चालन हुने 'नेपाल माइक्रोन्युट्रिएन्ट सर्वे २०२६' ले राष्ट्रिय तथा उप-राष्ट्रिय तहको अद्यावधिक तथ्याङ्क उपलब्ध गराउनेछ। करिब एक दशकपछि यस्तो सर्वेक्षण हुन लागेको हो।
