सगरमाथा आरोहणका क्रममा एक हप्तादेखि बेपत्ता भएका ५२ वर्षीय गाइड दावा शेर्पा जीवितै फेला परेका छन्। उनलाई सगरमाथा प्रदूषण नियन्त्रण समितिका कर्मचारीहरूले खुम्बु आइसफल र क्राम्पन प्वाइन्ट नजिकै घिस्रिरहेको अवस्थामा फेला पारेका थिए। परिवारले उनी जीवितै रहेको खबर पाउँदा काठमाडौंमा उनको अन्तिम संस्कारको प्रक्रिया सुरु गरिसकेका थिए। उनलाई थप उपचारका लागि हेलिकप्टरमार्फत काठमाडौंको ह्याम्स अस्पताल ल्याइएको छ।

    सगरमाथा आधार शिविर क्षेत्रमा एक हप्तादेखि बेपत्ता रहेका पर्यटन मजदुर दावा शेर्पा (हिलारी) को जीवितै उद्धार गरिएको छ। उनलाई खुम्बु आइसफल क्षेत्रबाट हेलिकप्टरमार्फत उद्धार गरी थप उपचारका लागि काठमाडौं ल्याइएको छ। खाना र अक्सिजन बिना सात दिनसम्म बाँच्न सफल शेर्पाको हाल राजधानीको ह्याम्स अस्पतालमा उपचार भइरहेको छ।
