बर्ड फ्लु संक्रमण: १० जिल्लामा ७ लाख कुखुरा नष्ट

नेपालका १० जिल्लामा एच फाइभ एन वान (H5N1) भाइरस पुष्टि भएपछि पशु सेवा विभागले करिब ७ लाख कुखुरा नष्ट गरेको छ। काठमाडौं उपत्यकासहित झापा, मोरङ, सुनसरी, महोत्तरी, बारा, चितवन र नवलपरासी लगायतका जिल्लामा यो संक्रमण देखिएको हो। संक्रमण नियन्त्रणका लागि विभागले कुखुराका साथै करिब ३ लाख किलो दाना समेत नष्ट गरेको छ। विभागका महानिर्देशक डा. उमेश दाहालका अनुसार भाइरस थप फैलिन नदिन द्रुत प्रतिकार्य टोली परिचालन गरिएको छ।
