सरकारले राष्ट्रिय प्रकृति संरक्षण कोष (एनटीएनसी) को सञ्चालक जिम्मा समितिमा तीनजना अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय ख्यातिप्राप्त संरक्षण विज्ञहरूलाई नियुक्त गरेको छ। कृषि, वन तथा वातावरण मन्त्री एवं कोषकी अध्यक्ष गीता चौधरीले एनटीएनसी ऐन बमोजिम यी विज्ञहरूलाई मनोनयन गर्नुभएको हो। यस नियुक्तिले संस्थाको अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय छवि सुधार्न र नेपालमा वैज्ञानिक संरक्षण प्रयासहरूलाई अगाडि बढाउन मद्दत पुग्ने विश्वास गरिएको छ।
