नेपालका ७४ जिल्लामा स्क्रब टाइफस पुष्टि भई १० हजार २१० जना संक्रमित भएको महामारी तथा रोग नियन्त्रण महाशाखा (ईडीसीडी) ले जनाएको छ। स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालयले रोगको निगरानी, परीक्षण र उपचारका साथै स्वास्थ्यकर्मीको क्षमता विकास र जोखिम सञ्चार गतिविधि तीव्र बनाएको छ। संखुवासभा जिल्लामा मात्रै साउनयता ५६० जना स्क्रब टाइफस संक्रमित भेटिएका छन्।
